I just got a divorce listing using this system. There wasn’t much competition and both parties agreed to hire me. Here’s how I did it.
If you meet them before they talk to other Realtors, then you have a good chance of getting the listing. The key is to get both people to understand that they need an agent on their side. Let me explain.
I don’t take sides. Instead, I take the side of selling the home for the most money. They both win if I can sell the house for more. Once they get that, the rest is easy.
Most of my competition doesn’t understand how important this is. As a result I get the listing almost every time. But, it wasn’t always this easy.
When I first started listing divorces I messed up. A lot. Made some big mistakes. Lot a lot of listings.
You see, if you approach divorces the wrong way, then they may complain to your broker. Some will even call and scream at you. I made this mistake when I first started.
Fortunately, it’s very easy to avoid this problem. (I’ll explain how in Step 3 of the 5 Step Training.) It took me a little while to develop my 5 Step Divorce Marketing System. A lot of trial and experimentation. Fortunately, I have developed a fool-proof system to listing divorces.
